Union Street Dam Park

Situated directly adjacent to one another, Lay Park and Union Street Dam Park function as one. Together, they provide some of the most direct access to the river within the urban core of Traverse City, offering opportunities for fishing, picnicking and relaxing. The Union Street Dam and fish ladder provide a unique river experience, allowing visitors to cross the river by foot and get extremely close to the rushing water.
